Transforming Family Life
Think sleep holistically
Hi! I'm Maria
Your Child Sleep Consultant.
My personal journey brought me here, confident that I can help you find solutions to your struggles with sleep. As a new mom I had to face many different and demanding challenges with my own child's sleep that also involved health issues and trauma. But our family's sleep challenges brought so many positive changes in our lives, on so many levels.
This journey led to my education that showed me how to think, sense and approach everything holistically in order to really make a difference in people's lives.
As your consultant my ultimate goal is to help your child sleep. But at the same time, I don't leave anything or anyone else outside. I am interested in improving the well-being of every member in your family. My goal is to work with you on finding what is best for your child and your family in the present moment. This also includes special circumstances you may be dealing with, like attachment issues, trauma, health issues, being a single parent, having no support, working night shifts etc.
Join me on this wonderful journey of growth and happiness.
and Trauma-informed Child Sleep Consultant
Why my Approach is different?
Sleep is affected by a large number of factors we cannot overlook. Like health, nutrition and emotional well-being. We take everything under consideration.
Secure attachment of the child to the parent is basic foundation for healthy sleep and happy children. We make sure we maintain a safe connection.
Identifying a trauma when it exists, helps in finding the tools and resources to heal it. We work gently and with care especially when there is trauma.
Sleep difficulties (multiple wakings, very early awakening, resistance in sleep ending to a late bedtime, inconsistent or short naps, overstimulation, challenging behavior etc.)
Additional challenges (health issues, non-ideal conditions, personal triggers, lack of support, big changes, twins, complicated situations etc)
Sleep optimization (healthy sleep habits, sleep hygiene, biological needs, environment, health, emotional well-being, nutrition etc.)
Family goals (maintenance of breastfeeding, night weaning, sleep associations, transfer to another bed or room, strengthening attachment etc.)
You are looking for
Responding with care
- Teaches your baby that the world is a safe place and that there is always someone who responds and co-regulates them when they need to.
- Encourages your baby to develop self-regulation skills and to be independent in a healthy developmental pace.
- Promotes secure attachment and the development of a healthy relationship between you and your baby.
And what about you?
In order for you to respond with consistency to all your baby's needs,
you need to take care of your personal needs as well.
Personal needs are far more than hair salons and spas. Self-care means inviting the right external support. Finding balance in the family system. Having the ability to do things that recharge your batteries. Chasing your dreams. And creating a productive communication with your partner.
Through this journey, we explore your strengths and we empower them. We identify the areas that you want to improve and we find the tools to achieve that. Why?
Because the best parent for your child is you, happy.
Imagine your child sleeping safe and sound. And you watching your favorite series on Netflix with your partner. Imagine yourself enjoying cheerful mornings with your family eating breakfast together.
After you all have had a good night sleep.
Now, let's not leave all these be an imagination, what do you say?
Are you an expat parent?
Dealing with the above sleep challenges is already a real struggle. Being an expat parent above all these can be even more overwhelming. And can also bring isolation, despair and depression.
I am an expat mom originally coming from Greece. I live in Switzerland since 2016. I have been through all the sleep challenges mentioned above with my own child. In the meantime, not speaking the language and having zero support made me struggle some more. Fortunately I survived. And then I used my experience to grow.
It takes a lot of courage to ask for help and support when you are a new parent. I know, I have been there.
It is my mission to make your choice to search for support as worthwhile and rewarding as it can be. I do this by providing everything I wished I had received back then.

She is well-trained and so to the point that you have no room to doubt whether you will succeed. Consistent and available, she helped me hear and understand my child's needs better. But most importantly, she has helped me understand my own needs. The quality of our daily lives has improved significantly.
